You can also write from the app: More → Contact support. Please include the email address of your Hearth account, your device (iPhone or Android) and the app version from More → Version.
Never send us a password or bank details. We will never ask for them.
Your household
How do I invite my partner or family?
More → Invite someone. Hearth makes a one-time code, and emails it to them if you add their address. They install Hearth, create their own account and enter the code. It expires after seven days. The free plan includes two members per household.
How do I change what someone can do, or remove them?
More → Members, then tap the person. Removing someone ends their access straight away; what they recorded stays in the household.
I want to leave, but I own the household
First go to More → Household settings → Hand over the household and choose another member. They become the owner and you become an admin.
How do I delete a household?
More → Household settings → Delete household (owners only). It disappears for everyone at once and is permanently erased 30 days later.
Hearth Plus
How much does it cost?
$4.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US. The App Store and Google Play set the price in your local currency and show it in the app before you buy. See Pricing.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel in your store account. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Hearth, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
- Android: Google Play → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Deleting the app, or your Hearth account, does not cancel a subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store: reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or the Google Play refund page.
I reinstalled the app or changed phone
Sign in with the same account, then open More → Hearth Plus → Restore purchases.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Nothing is charged — the trial needs no card. Hearth returns to the free plan and every record stays.
Your account
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen tap I forgot my password and follow the email. If you signed up with Apple or Google, use that button instead — there is no separate password.
How do I lock Hearth with Face ID or fingerprint?
More → Security. The check happens on your phone; Hearth never receives your face or fingerprint.
How do I export my data?
Tap your name at the top of More, then Export your data. It is free on every plan.
How do I delete my account?
Tap your name at the top of More, then Delete your account. Full details, and how to ask by email if you can’t open the app, are on the Delete your account page.
